'All You Can Eat' Pancake Supper: Supper consists of "All you can eat" Pancakes and Bratwurst sausage, Apple crisp and Ice Cream (Chocolate Sundaes for kids) and Beverage.

Ash Wednesday Express: Designed with the busy person in mind, the ten minute service offers the opportunity to begin the day, and the Christian season of Lent, and then grab a cup of coffee (or refill the travel mug).

The'Express' service will include the possibility of receiving the traditional 'imposition of ashes' - the sign of the cross on your forehead, or on the back of your hand. There will also be the option of the sign of the cross made with water, or with unscented oil.

The coffee will be on, and we are serious about you filling up your travel mug as you go!

Trinity will be accepting free-will donations for the United Church Haiti Relief Fund.

Trinity United Church is at 1250 McCraney Street East in Oakville, a bit north of Oakville Place, and just off of Trafalgar Road.

Fiddle Champion Scott Woods Concert: A concert on behalf of the Lowville United Church.

The cost is $20.00 per person and tickets must be ordered in advance. A good visual of the stage is available from every seat and this concert is usually a sellout. Order your tickets early to ensure seating. Contact the Lowville United Church at 905-335-0911.

A snack with beverage fellowship at intermission and at the end of the show. A time for meeting Scott Woods and for purchasing CD's.

Breaking Through the Divide: Lunch and Conversation with the Rev. Dr. Otis Moss III.

Biography: Pastor Otis Moss III is the Senior Minister of Trinity United Church of Christ, in Chicago, Illinois.  Pastor Moss has done extensive research in the areas of African-American culture, theology and youth development. The African American Pulpit Journal recently named Reverend Moss one of the "20 to watch" ministers who will shape the future of the African American church.

Five Oaks Education and Retreat Centre

The Five Oaks Education and Retreat Center provides programs for individuals of all ages, families, youth groups and congregations, to deepen their spirituality, broaden their knowledge of the Christian story in terms relevant to today's world and develop ways of living faithfully in God's world.

Here are some of the programs being offered:

Male Spirituality, February 8-11 or 16-19.
Participants will choose either weekend to explore relationships, spiritual issues and ultimately themselves through the sharing of song, stories, poetry, sacred trust circles and time for personal reflection.

Five Oaks Confirmation Weekends, February 12-14, 26-28 and March 26-28.
Join with other youth and youth leaders to learn and discover about Christian Tradition, The United Church and how faith can relate to daily life.

Expressive Arts Retreat, February 19-20.
Experience the power of creative exploration and expression as a way to understand ourselves and the world around us more deeply

Courage to lead Retreat, February 23-25.
Participants seeking personal and professional renewal will expand their capacity to listen and be present, improve their ability to build trustworthy relationships and find the courage to live authentically through the use of poetry, solitude, reflection and deep listening.

Rhythm at the Heart: Spiritual Practice of Soundmaking, March 1.
Stephen Hudecki explores how the human spirit can be awakened, revitalized or calmed through the expression of simple pattern, pulse & sound.

Keeping the Faith in a Culture of Consumerism , March 8-10.
John Bell explores God, Money, the Western World and the possibilities that exist within the Christian Faith to move beyond the consumerist mentality.
