Sunday April 29 9:30a.m. |
The Falgarwood Brass:
Make plans to attend the April 29th Church Service at Lowvile United in North Burlington. As a special service event we are being blessed with the performance of The Falgarwood Brass, a brass group that was founded in the fall of 2009 as a quartet. The founding members, Jennifer Peace and Shannon Jiyabi on Trumpet, Gail Pauling on French Horn and Tom Wallace on Trombone play in an eclectic variety of orchestras, concert bands, pit bands, and jazz bands but all really enjoyed the experience of playing in a small ensemble. The quartet found many opportunities to perform at weddings, special church services, schools and community events. In January of 2010 they decided to add a tuba to the group so that they could explore the more interesting and complex repertoire for brass quintet. Fortunately they found a tuba player, willing and brave enough to join them and Richard Jatiouk has formally made the group a quintet. Don't miss this Sunday service at Lowville. It is going to shine in both your heart and your memory for some time to come. If you have and friends or relatives who enjoy the brass bands, bring them along for this Sunday performance. There is no admission cost for this outstanding event other than your best wishes in the collection plate during the service. We are looking forward to seeing you and having you join us for the Sunday Service and fellowship. Lowville Sunday service is the early service beginning at 9:30 am leaving you the rest of the day for yourselves. |
